When I studied in high school, my teacher always said "Skillful sailors aren't made by smooth seas." to students . It tells me that it won't help me to improve my skill on everything if I always keep practicing on the easiest part and don't challenge higher level! I think everyone can understand what does this mean, because we must to finish preparing for everything before achieve our goal. In other word, we need to do a lot of effort to be the best to face any problem!
What we only can do is that find a good way to make effort form experiences. As it said, various situation will give sailors experience to know how to do in rough sea. In my opinion, people who focus on their weak points and improve them to be strong points are like good sailors. We sometimes struggle with the "rough sea" in our life, but people who want to be good sailors will achieve their goal.

My name is Jerry Chu. I like to play basketball and wactch any sport game. I am interested in many things such as playing sports, psycology, listening music , watching movies, calligraphy writing, cooking ... etc. I like learning or experiencing new things the best.
I came here, because I want to get my master degree in this school. On the onehand, this school only requires TOEFL score but doesn't require GRE score, so I decided to apply it. On the other hand, here I have good opportunity to learn new things, new thinking and new culture in the U.S.. The most impotant reason is that I like California a lot, LA especially!
I like to take nap in the afternoon and also like play computer games with my friends in my free time. I often hangout with my friends, and usually we go to play basketball or Internet cafe. I collect stamps and toys. I like to watch some interesting news on the Internet.
